The cadre restructuring of CBDT (which took place in May 2013) seems to have brought a mix of fortune and misfortune together for senior IRS (IT) officers; though for a time being. As many as 35 officers had been promoted to the rank of Chief Commissioners Income Tax (CCIT) on February 02, 2014 and prior to that many officers had got promotion in the rank on December 16, 2013.
