• The NaMo administration on Monday appointed Ms. Shalini Pandey (IDES(2004) as Director in the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs for a period of five years.

  • Poojan Rana (IRS IT:2009), Deputy Secretary in the Department of Economic Affairs was on Monday prematurely repatriated to his parent cadre on personal grounds with the condition of "extended cooling-off'.

  • Ms Surabhi Sharma (IRS IT:2006), Director in the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) was on Monday prematurely repatriated to her parent cadre on personal grounds.

  • The NaMo administration on Friday extended the tenure of deputation of Dilip Kumar (lAS:1995:PB), Joint Secretary, Office of Lokpal, for a period of one year beyond 15.07.2020 or until further orders.

  • The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) on Friday approved the empanelment of S K Nirmal, R K Pandey, Ravi Prasad and Mr Sarangi for promotion to the grade of Additional Director General in the Ministry of Road Transport & Highways.

    It may be mentioned that proposal for empanelment of these four officers was sent to the ACC, though the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways had already given them promotions on ad-hoc basis. The current ACC orders formalised the decision finally. 

  • Ms S N Rajeswari appointed as Chairman-cum-Managing Director in Oriental Insurance Company Limited (OICL) till the date of her superannuation i.e. 31.05.2022. Presently, she is working as GM, New India Assurance Company Limited (NIACL).

  • The tenure of foreign assignment of Dr. Saket Badola (IFS:2008:UD) as Head-TRAFFIC India Programme at WWF-India, New Delhi was on Thursday extended for a further period of two years from 04.01.2021 to 29.12.2022. 

  • Rajendra Prasad Shukla (GM, SECL) appointed to the post of Director (Finance), Western Coalfields Limited (WCL) till the date of his superannuation i.e. 31.12.2021.
