New Delhi (24.06.2026): Once again the Government of Keralam has honoured convention of seniority and competence for the coveted position when the state Cabinet decided to appoint Bishwanath Sinha (IAS: 1992: KL), Additional Chief Secretary (Home), as the next Chief Secretary of the state. Sinha has his service up to September 2028.Sinha will replace incumbent CS Dr A Jayathilak (IAS: 1991: KL) who is superannuating on June 30, 2026. After Sanjeev Kaushik (IAS: 1992: KL), now ED, Asian Development Bank, recused himself from the CS post, the deck was clear for Sinha who is considered as one of the most capable and competent bureaucrats in the Cadre.(By Rakesh Ranjan) ALSO READ
