New Delhi (18.06.2026): Former Steel Authority of India Ltd (SAIL) Chairman, Amarendu Prakash on Thursday late evening joined Hindustan Zinc Limited as its new CEO. He replaces Arun Mishra who recently moved as the Group CEO of Vedanta Ltd. Hindustan Zinc Limited (HZL) is India’s only integrated producer of zinc, lead, and silver. Headquartered in Udaipur, Rajasthan, it stands as the world's second-largest integrated zinc producer and ranks third globally in silver production. It may be underlined that Amarendu Prakash assumed charge as SAIL Chairman on May 31, 2023 and years ahead of his superannuation he resigned from his position on January 02, effective April 1, 2026.ALSO READ:
