The selection interview is being held to find the replacement of R S T Sai, the outgoing CMD of THDC, who will retire on 30 November 2016. If some sources are to be believed 12 candidates will be trying their luck to become CMD of THDC. THDC India Limited is a Joint Venture of Govt. of India and Govt of Uttar Pradesh. The Equity is shared in the ratio of 75:25 between GoI and GoUP. The Company was incorporated in July' 88 to develop, operate & maintain the 2400 MW Tehri Hydro Power Complex and other hydro projects. The Company has an authorised share capital of ` 4000 cr.
