Thiruvananthapuram (01.07.2026): Bishwanath Sinha (IAS: 1992: KL) assumed charge as the Chief Secretary of Keralam on June 30, 2026 at a function held at Darbar Hall in the state Secretariat. Sinha took over from A Jayathilak (IAS: 1991: KL), who retired as the State Chief Secretary.Chief Minister V D Satheesan and Industries Minister P K Kunhalikutty were present on the occasion. Sinha had been serving as the Home Secretary before being elevated to the post of Chief Secretary. He has two years of service remaining.ALSO READ
