Chandigarh (04.07.2026): Punjab Congress doesn’t seem to have learnt from its past experiences when it offered the Punjab government to Aam Aadmi Party on platters due to infighting. The tussle between Capt Amarinder Singh and Navjot Singh Sidhu cost the party dear in last couple of elections. Now, former Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi has taken the cudgel against the party for being ignored and so is the case with Chandigarh MP Manish Tiwari. On the eve of elections, such developments are not a good sign for likely changing fortunes of the Congress in the state.
