New Delhi (08.07.2026): The Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) on Wednesday recommended the name of N Franklin Jayakumar for the post of Chairman & Managing Director (CMD), Northern Coalfields Limited (NCL), a leading Public Sector Undertaking (PSU). A total 11 candidates were interviewed. Subject to requisite clearances and ACC approval, Jayakumar will be the new CMD. Currently, he serves as Director (Technical), South Eastern Coalfields Limited. The post CMD is lying vacant at present.
