In the wake of the remark of Supreme Court of India there has been strong buzz that CBI Director, Ranjit Sinha (IPS: 1974: BH) would proceed on leave from November 22. Sources indicate that the government may ask the incumbent to hand over the charge to Anil Kumar Sinha (IPS: 1979: BH), Special Director, CBI. Only eleven days have left in the completion of Sinha's tenure as CBI Chief. At the same time there are few who believe that Sinha does not believe in giving up and he may continue till December 02.
