As 'Indianmandarins' had anticipated in its report published on 19 April Ms S Aparna (IAS:GJ:1988) finally appointed as Principal Secretary to Anandiben Patel, Gujarat CM. She served as Principal Secretary, Planning. As PS to CM she will replaces G C Murmu (IAS:GJ:1985) who has taken charge in GoI as Joint Secretary, Department of Expenditure under Ministry of Finance.
Initially three names were in contention which included K Kriniwas (IAS:GJ:1989) and P D Vaghela (IAS:GJ:1986) as well.
