NEW DELHI (05.06.2026): In order to widen the pool of officers for the appointment of Director at Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration (LBSNAA), the Centre has sought willingness of such officers who are empanelled as Additional Secretary or Secretary in the Government of India by June 22, 2026. The post of Director, LBSNAA is falling vacant on July 31, 2026.

The interested officers can send their willingness by enclosing a ‘Vision Document’ not exceeding five hundred words to outline their ideas and visions; what is their action plan for the next three years; and a note on their suitability for the post also in not more than 500 words.

The officers working in the cadre need No Objection Certificate (NoC) from the respective state governments in advance along with all these documents while those on Central deputation can apply directly.
