NEW DELHI (04.06.2026): The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) headed by Prime Minister ratified the PESB recommendation and appointed Anupam Misra, Director (Marketing), Fertilisers and Chemicals Travancore Limited (FACT) to the post of Chairman & Managing Director (CMD), Hindustan Copper Limited (HCL) up to the date of his superannuation i.e. 28.02.2030. Mishra will replace Sanjiv Kumar Singh who is superannuating on 30.06.2026.The Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) on March 12, 2026 recommended the name of Anupam Misra for the post of Chairman and Managing Director, Hindustan Copper Limited (HCL).ALSO READ
