    1. The additional charge of the post of Secretary, Ministry of AYUSH was assigned to Rajesh Bhushan (lAS:1987:BH) Secretary, Department of Health & Family Welfare from 28.05.2022 to 06.06.2022 during the period of absence on leave of Vaidya Rajesh Kotecha.
    2. Roshan Mammarappallil Thomas (IDAS:2011), who was appointed as Deputy  Secretary in the Ministry of Tourism for a period of four  years.
    3. Deepak M. Damor (IPS:2001:TN) was appointed as Joint Director (IG level) in  National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB) against existing vacancy on deputation basis for a  period of 05 years.

  • New Delhi (25.05.2022): Notifications of appointments and recommendations issued on Wednesday are as follows:

    • Dr. Vibha Chahal (IAS:2012:UP) was appointed as Private Secretary to the Minister of State for Health & Family Welfare (Dr. Bharati Pravin Pawar) at the level of Deputy Secretary for a period of five years.
    • Mahesh Bhagwat Dale (IDAS:2011), Deputy Secretary in the Ministry of Ayush, was prematurely repatriated to his parent cadre on personal grounds with extended cooling off.
    • Ravish Prasad (IOFS:2010) was appointed as Deputy Secretary in the  Department of Defence for a period of four years.
    • Ram Singh (lAS:2008:AM) was appointed as Director in the Department of Telecommunications for a period of five years.

  • New Delhi (24.05.2022): Notifications of appointments and recommendations issued on Tuesday are as follows:
    • Parshant Kumar Goyal (lAS:2007:TR) was appointed as Director in the Department of Financial Services for a period of five years.
    • Shakti Kant Singh (lFS:2010:TR) was appointed as Deputy Secretary in the Department of Rural Development for a period of four years.
    • Gauri Shankar Sharma (ITS:1997) was appointed Director in the Department of Consumer Affairs for a period of five years.
    • Yashasvi Kumar (IDAS:2009) was appointed as Deputy Secretary in the Department of Justice for a period of four years.
    • Swayambhu Arya (IRSME:1999) was appointed as Director in the NITI Aayog for a period of five years.

  • New Delhi (23.05.2022): Notifications of appointments and recommendations issued on Monday are as follows:
    • PESB selected Manish Kumar (Chief Manager, CCL) for the post of Director (Personnel), Northern Coalfields Ltd.
    • Prasanta Kumar Swain (IPoS:1987, Additional Secretary, Department of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare, was repatriated to his parent cadre for availing promotion in the cadre.
    • Honhar Singh Meena (IRS C&CE:2005) was appointed as Director in the Ministry of Panchayati Raj for a period of five years.
    • Apul Jayaswal (IRS IT:2008) was appointed as Director, Central Vigilance Commission for a period of five years
    • Kiran Kumar Karlapu (IRS C&CE:2010) was appointed as Deputy Secretary in the Department of Health & Family Welfare for a period of four years.
    • Satish Kumar (IRSEE:2002) was appointed as Director, Ministry of Power for a period of five years.
    • Ms. Richa Pandey (ICAS:2011) was appointed as Deputy Secretary in the National Pharmaceuticals Pricing Authority for a period of four years.
    • Abhinav Pratap Singh (IPoS:2011) was appointed as Deputy Secretary in the Ministry of Culture for a period of four years.


  • New Delhi (21.05.2022):- The Govt on Saturday appointed Vivek Kumar (IFS:2004) as Prive Secretary to Prime Minister in the Prime Minister’s Office at the Joint Secretary level. Kumar was earlier a Director in PMO. He was appointed in the PMO as Deputy Secretary in 2014.
    It may be underlined that Hardik Satishchandra Shah is also there in PMO as Prive Secretary to PM and previously served as a Deputy Secretary in the Prime Minister's Office and later became PS to PM.

Rajaraman is Secretary, Department of Telecommunications.
    • The additional charge of the post of Secretary, Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship was assigned to Sunil Barthwal (IAS;1989:BH) from 20.05.2022 to 04.06.2022 during the period of absence on leave of Rajesh Aggarwal (IAS:1989:MH). Barthwal is Secretary, Ministry of Labour & Employment.

  • New Delhi (17.05.2022): Notifications of appointments and recommendations issued on Tuesday are as follows:

    • The additional charge of the post of Secretary, Ministry of Tourism was assigned to Ali Raza Rizvi (lAS:1988:HP) from 18.05.2022 to 29.05.2022 during the period of absence on leave of Arvind Singh (lAS:1988:MH).  Presently, Rizwi is Secretary, Department of Public Enterprises, Ministry of Finance.
    • The Ministry of Railways assigned the additional charge (Looking After) of the post of Member (Finance), Railway Board to Mohit Sinha (IRAS), Additional Member (Revenue), Railway Board w.e.f. 17.05.2022. The post fell vacant after the appointment of Naresh Salecha (Retd IRAS:1984) as Member (Technical), NCLAT.
