Indianmandarins has reliably learnt that I V Subbarao (Retd IAS:1979:AP) is all set to be appointed as Secretary to M Venkaiah Naidu, the newly elected Vice President of India. Further Dr N Yuvaraj (IAS:2005:AP) and Satya (a private person) may be appointed as PS and OSD to VP respectively. Subbarao earlier held the post of Establishment Officer (DOPT), the most sought-after position in Delhi. Yuvaraj served as PS to the then I&B Minister M Venkaiah Naidu since August 2016 whereas Satya served as his OSD. Coincidentally, former DOPT Secretary Sanjay Kothari was recently picked as Secretary to the President of India Ram Nath Kovind whereas former EO Subbarao is set to be named as Secretary to the Vice President of India.
