If some top sources are to be believed a major PMO revamp is being chalked out in run up to 2019 Lok Sabha elections to focus on vital issues of administration and critical issues of governance. Reportedly, a senior IAS officer may be shifted from PMO to a critically important department with a mammoth task of cleaning up the mess whereas a senior IAS officer may be inducted into PMO to assist the Prime Minister Modi in macro-level affairs ahead of 2019 elections. There are indications that several other changes too are on the cards.

Further it is learnt that two well regarded IAS officers are expected to be inducted at Additional Secretary level and Joint Secretary level. Reportedly, an IIT computer science graduate IAS from Northern state and another IAS officer, a Joint Secretary with private sector background, from a Southern state, may be inducted into team PMO. One will be solely monitoring delivery of projects and another for communications, outreach strategy, both vital to Modi re-election.

Its an open secret now that the NaMo regime is always there with surprises all the time and hence none knows what exactly is on the cards.
