'Indianmandarins' has reliably learnt that Ms Vanita Sharma (IRS IT:1994) may shortly be appointed as Managing Director, Footware Design & Development Institute (FDDI), under the Ministry of Commerce & Industries. Presently Ms Sharam is posted at DG HQ (Investigation), CBDT.
Rajeev J Lakhara (IRS IT:1992) has been heading the premiere institute since 03 February 2005. Though FDDI website displays Lakhara as MD, credible sources indicate that that he has repatriated to his cadre i.e. CBDT.
