It is reliably learnt that Rajeev Mehta (IPS:1981:AM) is supposed to take over as Meghalaya DGP on February 04. Reportedly, Mehta may be relieved from MHA by January 30. Presently he is serving as DG, Narcotics Control Bureau under Union Home Ministry. He is expected to take over from Sunil Kumar Jain (the acting DGP) on February 04.
