The Bengal government has made Ajoy Kumar Inspector General (IG) I, Criminal Investigation Department (CID). Earlier, he held the post of Commissioner of Chandannagore.

Further, Santosh Pandey has been posted as DC (Traffic) from his position of DC (Cyber Crime) with the Kolkata Police. Akhilesh Chaturvedi, SP Darjeeling, has been posted as CP of Chandannagore while Amarnath K has become SP Darjeeling from his position of SP (Operation), Darjeeling. Harikrishna Pai who was acting Additional SP (Kurseong ) has been transferred as Additional SP (headquarters) Darjeeling. Apart from the IPS transfer, there was a single transfer in SDPO rank.
