The decision ensures continuity in senior leadership at the company until a regular CMD is appointed or further orders are issued.The extension is effective from May 01, 2026. Jose V J serves as Director (Finance) of Cochin Shipyard Limited and is currently holding the additional charge of Chairman and Managing Director (CMD). He assumed charge as Director (Finance) on August 01, 2019, and was entrusted with additional CMD responsibilities from February 01, 2026.

KOCHI (02.06.2026): Cochin Shipyard Limited has extended additional charge of the post of Chairman & Managing Director (CMD) to Jose V J, Director (Finance), for a further period of three months.
