NEW DELHI (02.06.2026): The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet appointed five General Managers and one Additional Member (Planning), Railway Board from the various services of the Indian Railway Service to the ex-cadre posts for the panel year of 2026. The names and new designation of these officers are as follows:
  1. Prem Sagar Gupta (IRSE): General Manager, Metro Railway, Kolkata
  2. Pankaj Sharma (IRSEE):  General Manager, North Western Railway, Jaipur
  3. U Subba Rao (IRSME): General Manager, Southern Railway, Chennai
  4. Gitika Pandey (IRAS): General Manager, Eastern Railway, Kolkata
  5. Manish Agarwal (IRSME): General Manager, Integral Coach Factory, Chennai
  6. Nilmani (IRSE): Additional Member (Planning), Railway Board, New Delhi
