The Govt of Assam had effected a minor reshuffle of senior IPS officers ; 

Mukesh Agrawal (IPS:1989:AM) Additional Director General of Police (Law & Order) has been transferred and posted as ADG of Police (CID) vice L R Bishnoi (IPS:1991:AM).

G P Singh (IPS:1991:AM)   back from Central Deputation is posted as ADG of Police (Law & Order) vice Mukesh Agrawal.

L R Bishnoi has been posted as ADG Police (TAP).

CS & DGP level reshuffle effected in Mizoram, Arunachal & Puducherry

The Union Ministry of Home Affairs on Tuesday effected a major senior level bureaucratic reshuffle.

 

NDMC Chairman Naresh Kumar (IAS:1988:UT) was made Arunachal Pradesh Chief Secretary vice Satya Gopal (IAS:1988:UT). Further Satya Gopal was posted to the Govt of NCT.

 

J K Sharma (IPS:1982:UT), presently DG Home Guards was appointed DG, Delhi Disaster Management Authority (DDMA). Ajay Kashyap (IPS:1985:UT), presently, DG Prisons, was appointed DG Home Guards vice J K Sharma. 


S B K Singh (IPS:1988:UT), presently DGP Arunachal was appointed DGP of Mizoram vice Balaji Srivastava (IPS:1988:UT) who was posted as DGP of Puducherry. Further, Puducherry DGP Ms S Sundari Nanda (IPS:1988:UT) was posted in the Govt of NCT.


Further, Sandeep Goel (IPS:1989:UT), presently Special CP, Law & Order (North) replaced Kashyap as DG, Prisons.

 

Rajender Pal Upadhyaya (IPS:1991:UT) was given the additional charge of DGP, Arunachal Pradesh.

Maha IPS reshuffle

Maharashtra-cadre IPS officers Vikram Deshmane and Vinaykumar Rathod have been transferred to the state Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS). Their transfer is part of the large scale reshuffle of IPS officers of the state before the state assembly elections.

Namrata Patil has been put in charge of Coastal Security State Intelligence Department as DCP. Rupali Ambure is made the SP of SPU in charge of Governor's security. 

Among other officers transferred are Chandar Kishore Meena, Pranay Ashok, Ankit Goyal, Ranjan Sharma, Somnath Gharge, Mohan Dahikar, Shrikant Paropkar, D S Swami, and Nandkumar Thakur.

Pravin Patil will now head crime branch of Navi Mumbai Police. Earlier, he was the chief security officer of Vidhan Bhavan Security.

Abhishek Trimukhe is moved to the state police headquarters as an Assistant Inspector General of Police (Planning and Coordination) from the post of DCP (Zone I) in Mumbai,

The list also includes the names of IPS officers Vinita Sahu, Hari Balaji N, Harsh Poddar, Amogh Gaonkar as SP of Akola district, Pandit Kamlakar, and Mangesh Shinde. Rajkumar Shinde and Smartna Patil have been shifted to Thane city police as DCPs.

05 IPS officers shuffled in J&K

Five IPS officers were among seven senior officers who were given new responsibilities in J&K on Tuesday.

Mukesh Singh, IPS (JK:1996), upon his repatriation from Central Deputation, has been posted as IGP, Crime, J&K, vice Syed Ahfadul Mujtaba, IPS (JK:1998), who has been posted as MD, J&K, Police Housing Corporation.

Shaleen Kabra, Principal Secretary, Home Department, and Sulaiman Salaria, IPS (JK:1994), Director, SKPA, Udhampur, Dr S D Singh, IPS (JK:1995) IGP, (CIV), PHQ, Shailender Singh, JKPS (1999), AIG (Buildings), PHQ,  have been reposted.

Rayees Mohammad Bhat, IPS, AIG (Tech), shall hold the charge of the post of AIG (Buildings), PHQ, in addition to his duties, till further orders.

Further, Naseer Ahmad, Senior Superintendent of Police, Telecom (I/c Director Police Telecom) has been promoted as Director Police Telecommunication.

08 IPS officers shifted in Haryana

Haryana has transferred and reposted eight IPS officers and one HPS officer with immediate effect.

Naazneen Bhasin, the superintendent of police (SP) of Special Task Force in Gurugram has been posted as SP Rewari. Rahul Sharma, the SP of Rewari, has been posted as Rohtak SP.

Abhishek Jorwal, the SP of Chief Minister's Flying Squad (CID) in Panchkula, has been posted as Ambala SP.

Jashandeep Singh Randhawa, the SP of Rohtak, has been posted as the SP of Special Task Force in Gurugram. Waseem Akram, the SP of Kaithal, has been posted as Commandant of 3rd Indian Reserve Battalion in Sunaria. Mohit Handa, the SP of Ambala, has been posted as Dadri SP.

Virender Kumar, the SP of Hansi, has been posted as Kaithal SP. Smiti Chaudhary, the SP of Dadri, has been posted as the SP of Chief Minister's Flying Squad (CID)in Panchkula.

Among HPS officers, Virender Singh Sangwan, the additional superintendent of police, crime, has been posted as the SP of Hansi.

MP: 10 IPS officers reshuffled

MP has transferred 10 IPS officers including IG-Hoshangabad Makrand Deoskar who has been reverted to intelligence.

 

The others transferred include AIG Himani Khanna, who has been posted at women cell in Jabalpur, and AIG-PHQ J S Rajput who will now command 7th Battalion in Bhind.

 

Anurag Sharma, SP-PTS in Ujjain, has been transferred as commandant of 32 Battalion in Ujjain. AIG Tarun Nayak has been posted as commandant Hawk Force, AIG V K Singh as SP-PTS Ujjain, AIG Nimish Agrawal as commandant 10 Battalion in Sagar and AIG YD Butia as commandant of 15 Battalion, Indore. AIG Deepak Kumar Shukla will command 8th Battalion in Sagar and AIG-Manoj Kumar Srivastava will command 29th Battalion in Datia.

Andhra Pradesh: 17 IPS officers reshuffled

The Jaganmohan Reddy administration on Sunday transferred 17 IPS officers. Five of these officers were reposted for the second time in a week and formally posted three other officers who were on a wait.


DGP-rank IPS officer A.R. Anuradha of 1987 batch, who was transferred out last week as Principal Secretary (Home), has been posted as DG of AP State Disaster Response and Fire Services.


Visakhapatnam city police Commissioner Mahesh Chandra Laddha (1998) has been shifted and Rajiv Kumar Meena (1995) posted in his place. Laddha has been posted as Inspector General of Police (Personnel) in the state headquarters, according to a Government Order issued by Chief Secretary L V Subrahmanyam.


Additional DG-rank officer N Balasubrahmanyam (1994) has been relieved of his charge as CEO e-Pragati and asked to report to the General Administration Department for further posting. His batchmate N Sridhar Rao, who is on deputation from Sikkim cadre, has been posted as Additional DG (Welfare and Sports), a newly-created ex-cadre post.


Vineet Brijlal (2001) has been posted as IGP, Guntur Range while K Satyanarayana (1998), who is on deputation from UP cadre, has been made IG, Police Transport Organisation.


DIG-rank officer G Srinivas, Superintendent of Police-rank officers G V K Ashok Kumar, Sarvashresta Tripathi, Vikrant Patil and Koya Praveen were transferred in this round yet again but Praveen has been left out without any fresh posting.
