  • New Delhi (11.07.2025): Notifications of appointments and recommendations issued on Friday are as follows:
    Chandrashekhar Nayaka L (IAS: 2013: KN) has been appointed as Officer on Special Duty (OSD) to Union Minister for Finance & Corporate Affairs, Nirmala Sitharaman, in the Ministry of Finance, for a term of four years.
    • Union Home Secretary Govind Mohan's (IAS: 1989: SK) service tenure has been extended until August 22, 2026, or further orders, whichever is earlier, beyond his initial retirement date of September 30, 2025.
    • Sonali Mishra (IPS: 1993: MP) has been appointed as Director General of the Railway Protection Force, Railway Board, until her superannuation on October 31, 2026.

    • Rohit Kumar (IAS: 1997: RJ) has been appointed as Additional Secretary at NITI Aayog, in addition to his central deputation tenure being extended by one year until September 24, 2026. He is currently serving as Additional Secretary in the Cabinet Secretariat.
    • Anupam Mishra's (IES: 1995) central deputation tenure has been extended by one year, until July 23, 2026. He currently serves as Joint Secretary in the Department of Consumer Affairs.
    • Asif Jalal's (IPS: 2002: HP) central deputation tenure has been extended by two years, beyond September 23, 2025. He currently serves as Inspector General in the Border Security Force.

    • The Govt of India approved the premature repatriation of Rajeev Sharma (IPS: 1990: RJ) to the parent Cadre (Rajasthan) as he has been appointed as State DGP. He was working in Govt of India as DG, Bureau of Police Research & Development (BPR&D).
    • Avinash Purushottam Das Joshi (IAS: 1994: AM) was appointed as Secretary in the Ministry of Food Processing Industries (MoFPI). Currently, he is working as as Additional Secretary in the Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT).
