Thackeray brothers left high and dry on Marathi language issue

Mumbai (07.07.2025): The pro-Marathi and anti-Hindi jibe has left Thackeray brothers alone as neither the Congress nor the Nationalist Congress Party has come forward to support them. Not only the fact that supporting the move would harm them nationwide but also that Thackeray’s strategy would not work in the entire Maharashtra. The Congress cleverly side stepped leaving them alone. Moreover, the dare of Shiv Sena was taken by Rahul Gandhi in Maharashtra in 2010 when Shiv Sena workers were asked to show him black flag. Interestingly even Mumbai is so cosmopolitan that Marathi card would not work.
