New Delhi (31.10.2024): Five days after repatriation from Centre to Cadre senior IAS officer Vivek Joshi (1989 batch) appointed Haryana’s new Chief Secretary (CS). He succeeds TVSN Prasad (IAS: 1988: HY) on his retirement on 31.10.2024. Before this Joshi served as Secretary, Department of Personnel and Training (DOPT) in Govt of India.According to an official order issued today Joshi will oversee general administration, human resources, personnel and training, parliamentary affairs, and the vigilance department, in addition to serving as the secretary in charge of plan coordination.Till Vivek Joshi takes charge as CS senior IAS officer Anurag Rastogi (IAS: 1990: HY) will function as acting chief secretary.
