New Delhi (26.10.2024): As Indianmandarins reported earlier(15.10.2024)the New Delhi establishment on Saturday repatriated Vivek Joshi (IAS: 1989: HY) to parent Cadre (Haryana). Currently, he is Secretary in the Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT). A couple of weeks back Joshi was laterally shifted from the Department of Financial Services (DFS) to DoPT.
It may be underlined Secretary posts in the Ministry of Culture and Department of Public Enterprise are already lying vacant for months.
The incumbent Chief Secretary, TVSN Prasad (IAS: 1988: HY) is scheduled to retire on 31.10.2024 and five days ahead of Prasad’s retirement Joshi’s repatriation, as anticipated, itself is a clear indication that Joshi, the senior most officer in the Cadre, is set to be appointed as the next Chief Secretary of Haryana.
