Agartala (22.07.2026): The Tripura government assigned additional charge of Director General of Police to G S Rao (IPS: 1999: TR) on 21.07.2026 following the death of Anurag Dhankar (IPS: 1994: TR), who died in mysterious circumstances in his office.
