Seven Indian Administrative Services (IAS) officers in UP were transferred and two others were given the additional charge in an administrative rearrangement.

 

Additional Chief Secretary (Higher Education) Anita Bhatnagar Jain was shifted to Food Security and Medical department. Additional Chief Secretary Rajendra Kumar Tiwari has been shifted to Jain's office.

Principal Secretary (Rural Development) Anurag Srivastava has been given the additional charge of Panchayati Raj department while Principal Secretary (Health and Family Welfare) Prashant Trivedi has been given the additional charge of AYUSH department.

 

Registrar of Dr Ram Manohar Lohia Law University, Yashwant Rao, has been made the Divisional Commissioner of Moradabad while Special Secretary (PWD) Priti Shukla has been shifted as Secretary (Secondary Education). Additional Director (Administration) of SGPGIMS, Jayant Narilkar, has been shifted as Secretary (AYUSH). Additional Cane Commissioner C Indumati will be Special Secretary (Women Welfare). Special Secretary (Urban Development) Mahendra Kumar will be Secretary, Panchayati Raj.

 

Meanwhile, the UP government has removed Director, Women Welfare, Vandana Verma with immediate effect and has kept her on the waiting list.

 

The government in its order issued on Thursday asked the officials concerned to relieve Verma immediately from her post otherwise it would be deemed as indiscipline while no sick leave would be entitled to her after being relieved.
