The newly formed Govt in Nagaland effected its first, though minor, reshuffle in state bureaucracy. Accordingly, Abhishek Singh (IAS:1995:NL), Home Commissioner, has been given additional charge of Commissioner & Secretary, P&AR Department and Commissioner & Secretary to the newly appointed Chief Minister. In the previous Govt Kelei Zeliang (IAS) served as Secretary to CM. In addition to this officers who have been given other charges are as follows: Angau I Thou (IAS), Commissioner & Secretary, Tourism and P&AR has been relieved of the charge of P&AR Department. Menukhol John has been given additional charge of School Education Department. Currently he serves as Principal Secretary, Industries and Commerce Department. Kelei Zeliang (IAS) has been relieved of the charge of Secretary to Chief Minister. Zeleiang will continue his posting as Secretary, Rural Development. Asalie Lese (NCS) has been transferred and posted as Under Secretary, Land Revenue Deparment. Currently he serves as Under Secretary, Art & Culture.
