He will hold the post till 14 December 2018.  M S Boje Gowda, a renowned BJP worker and former MLC, is a large coffee grower. Boje Gowda's brothers are leading owners of coffee estates and active in associations. Similarly, Prabhat Kamal Bezboruah appointed as Chairman, Tea Board (Kolkata). It may be noted that non-executive Chairman posts were recently created in Coffee, Tea, Spices and Tobacco Boards and candidates with certain pragmatic purposes.
