Sathya Prakash Tucker (IAS:1981:AP) has been appointed as Chief Secretary to the Government of Andhra Pradesh. The outgoing CS I Y R Krishna Rao (IAS:1979:AP), is scheduled to retire on January 31.
Tucker, new CS, will have a relatively short stint as CS as he will retire on August 31 this year.
Indianmandarins had reported on January 25 that the appointment orders for Tucker would be issued immediately after Andhra CM would return from Davos after attending the World Economic Forum Summit.
