Senior IAS officers asked to camp in three worst-affected UP districts

1555UP CM is not only asking health workers to camp in the worst-affected areas from COVID-19 but senior bureaucrats as well. Yogi Adityanath has asked high-level medical teams and senior bureaucrats to camp in Agra, Meerut and Kanpur for Covid-19 containment. A directive in this regard has been issued by the CMat a review meeting with chairpersons of 11 committees set up for Covid-19 management. Senior bureaucrats have been asked to go in these three districts. Infrastructure and industrial development commissioner Alok Kumar (IAS:1988:UP) and principal secretary, medical education, Rajneesh Dubey (IAS:1988:UP) have been asked to camp in Agra with a senior police officer. Principal secretary, irrigation, T Venkatesh (IAS:1988:UP) with senior police and medical officials will be camping in Meerut. Details of the officials to be sent to Kanpur are awaited but they too are going to be senior IAS officers assisted by police officers and the medical teams.
