New Delhi (24.07.2026): Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (PGCIL) said that the Ministry of Power has extended the additional charge of the post of Director (Projects) held by Chairman and Managing Director Burra Vamsi Rama Mohan for a further period of three months with effect from July 1. He has been holding the additional charge of the post since April 1.The extension has been approved through the Ministry of Power's order dated July 23, 2026. Rama Mohan was initially entrusted with the additional charge of Director (Projects) for three months with effect from April 1, 2026, under a Ministry of Power order dated April 6, 2026. The latest order extends the arrangement for another three months beginning July 1, 2026.
