After taking over as the Madhya Pradesh CM for the fourth time, Shivraj Singh Chouhan has enacted major bureaucratic changes in which as many as 50 IAS officers have been given the new assignment.
Former chief secretary M Gopal Reddy (IAS:1985:MP) has been appointed as chairman Revenue Board, Gwalior. He was replaced by Iqbal Singh Bains immediately after Chouhan took over.
ACS Anurag Jain (IAS:1989:MP) continues to remain as ACS (Finance) but with the additional charge of Planning, Economics and Statistics department. ACS Mohd Suleman (IAS:1989:MP) will also look after Medical Education and Bhopal Gas Tragedy Relief and Rehabilitation departments.
Another ACS Vinod Kumar (IAS: 1989:MP) will be heading General Administration Department. ACS JN Kansotia (IAS:1989:MP) will look after Animal Husbandry department while principal secretary Dr Rajesh Kumar Rajora (IAS:1990:MP), who used to look after industries department, will head the labour department.
Malay Shrivastava (IAS:1990:MP) will look after Public Health Engineering department as a principal secretary while Pankaj Rag (IAS:1990:MP) has been posted as the principal secretary of Parliamentary Affairs, Sports and Youth Welfare. Ashok Shah (IAS:1990:MP) is now head the Woman and Child Development department as a principal secretary. Principal secretary Manoj Govil (IAS:1990:MP) has been shifted from finance to the commercial tax department.
Principal secretary Manu Shrivastava (IAS:1991:MP) has been posted as a member of the Revenue Board, Gwalior. Principal secretary Kalpana Shrivastava (IAS:1991:MP) will now head Horticulture and Food Processing department.
Principal secretary Sanjay Dubey (IAS:1993:MP) will now head Energy and Renewable Energy department. Principal secretary Neeraj Mandloi (IAS:1993:MP) will now head PWD. Principal secretary Anupam Rajan (IAS:1993:MP) will now head the higher education department with the additional charge of principal secretary, Department of Public Relations.
Sanjay Kumar Shukla (IAS:1994:MP) is the new principal secretary of the Industrial Policy and Investment Promotion Department. Principal secretary Public Health and Family Welfare Dr Pallavi Jain Govil (IAS:1994:MP) will now head tribal welfare and scheduled castes welfare departments. IAS officer and principal secretary Deepali Rastogi (IAS:1994:MP) will head MSME department.
Principal secretary Shivshekhar Shukla(IAS:1994:MP) will continue to head Food and Civil Supply with an additional charge of culture department. Principal secretary Prateek Hajela (IAS:1995:MP), will now serve as principal secretary of Social Justice.
