New Delhi (30.10.2024): After the Union government issued notifications, in July this year, allowing government officials to participate in RSS Shakhas, many senior bureaucrats are openly availing the opportunity.
The RSS on Tuesday organised Deepawali-meet in the Constitutional Club of India attended primarily by a stream of journalists. But the presence of two senior-most officials of Prasar Bharati drew the attention of all and sundry. The incumbent Prasar Bharati Chairman Navneet Sehgal (Retd IAS: 1988: UP) and senior officials from DD News were among a few eminent and prominent officials who participated enthusiastically.
Sehgal who is known for his craftsmanship in communication strategy and PR and had done it for the successive governments in Uttar Pradesh caught everyone’s eyeballs. Several officials from Prasar Bharati and the Ministry of I&B too were also present.
