RSS’ next target?

RSS wants to do away with the word ‘secular’ from the preamble of the Indian constitution. Some people feel that this is an attempt to make India a Hindu nation but the RSS has its own logic behind this argument. Still, a section feels that CAA, triple talaq, Ram Temple, NRC, NPR, the promise of the Uniform Civil Code and proposed population control bill is simply furthering the agenda of the RSS by the Modi government.

RSS leader J Nandkumar feels that secularism is a western concept that came into existence to fight papal dominance in governance and to get states rid of the shackles of the church that the situation does not exist in India.

The matter of world secular was discussed in the Constituent Assembly debate but was opposed by Bhim Rao Ambedkar and Krishna Swami Aiyar and it was not included in the constitution. “But Constitution was bulldozed by Indira Gandhi in 1976 to include world secular. It was done to harm Hindutva,” he added.

RSS chief and JUH chief likely to share dais soon!

It is not that Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat will have only close door meetings with Jamiat Ulama e Hind chief Arshad Madani and many other senior leaders of the RSS will meet Muslim leaders and scholars separately but grapevine is abuzz that he would share dais with him as well very soon. This exercise yielded results post Ayodhya verdict to let peace prevail in the country.

It is learnt that Bhagwat was supposed to participate in the centenary celebration of Darul Uloom, Deoband in Saharanpur but due to announcement of by-elections in Uttar Pradesh so the plan could not materialize but it is not yet shelved. He might share dais with him on some other big occasion.

There had been more than one meeting between Bhagwat and Madani in the prevailing situation when there was the possibility of Hindu-Muslim clash in the country.

Maharashtra mayhem: Is the BJP hitting three birds from one stone?

By IndianMandarins 17 Nov 2019

The top leadership of the BJP – PM Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah – is full time politicians unlike the opposition that wakes up from the slumber when crisis crops up. What could be the next move of the opposition, the BJP leadership plans its answer well in advance and in one such scheme Shiv Sena -- the former ally of the BJP is trapped.

They might be able to install their CM in Maharashtra but the party might become a history in the politics of Maharashtra. The public perception in the state is suggesting so. It is known to everyone that public perception has been key to the success of the BJP from long. Right from the very moment when SS started demanding chief minister’s post not only social media was abuzz but started working in subtle way but in later phases they are openly accusing the Shiv Sena for harming the Hindutva ideology. Similarly the Congress will be harmed for aligning with the SS. If the SS and Congress are sorted out things would be easy for the BJP in the state.

So much so that even Marathies are going against the Shiv Sena that has predominantly a Marathi identity and the community being their core vote bank. An activist working in Navi Mumbai Netra Daoo said that the Shiv Sena is harming the very ideology that was groomed by Bala Saheb Thackrey. Can they tell people of Maharashtra, how would they deal with contradictions of the ideology of Shiv Sena and the Congress.

The BJP leadership is cashing in on very well on the development which apparently seems to be in the spree of marganalising its allies so they follow their dictate. So the SS is stuck in the trap laid by the BJP. “If the Shiv Sena thinks it can revolt and get the people’s sympathy, they really don’t know the public,” said BJP Party President Amit Shah, who understands people’s pulse very well.

The BJP works on the slogan of its incumbent PM that turn adversity into opportunity and his lieutenant Shah is very well executing his plans. If the alliance government of the Congress, the NCP and Shiv Sena is formed, it will collapse out of its own contradictions. This is what the BJP wants as after that the maneuvering of the BJP not only of parties, leaders but people will start.

Daoo said that people especially their voters are so angry with them that the next election is going to very dear for them as they will find it impossible to justify their decision and all such people will fall for the BJP as mid-term election is not ruled out. Even the BJP would not shy away from it. But lot more development is yet to unfold

Crouching tigress’ hidden agenda: Didi meets PM

By IndianMandarins 19 Sep 2019

Creating narrative and ground reality are two equally important things and ‘Didi’ appears to understood it very well. At least meeting of the WB CM Mamta Banerjee with the PM Modi and agreeing to meet Amit Shah suggests so.

Mamata might have been able to address a section of her voters in West Bengal but constantly being at the loggerhead with the Centre did not produce any good to her.

In fact, Didi’s one of the dearest projects lying with the home ministry has been changing name of West Bengal to Bangla. On the other hand It is believed that the moment name change takes place memory of partition of Bengals fades away which Sangh Pariwar doesn’t endorse. This has apparently been the reason that Mamata needs to meet Shah which she might have agreed reluctantly.

But the issue on which Didi failed to get approval from a leader like Rajnath Singh, getting approval of Amit Shah will be an onerous task. Let’s see how long this bonhomie continues as Shah does not give any concession to opposition.

Why did RSS chief meet 70-odd journatists writing for foreign media

By IndianMandarins 15 Sep 2019

It is not just to break the stereotype but expansion of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) too has forced the organization to clarify doubts about the organizations with the international media which was constantly under attack. As besides India, the organization has its presence in over 50 other countries.

The RSS chief’s interaction with 70-odd journalist writing for foreign newspapers, periodical and websites is an attempt to reach out to these scribes to explain objective for which the RSS was formed and how it works and what are its activities throughout the year.

When the BJP was not in power, its leaders too used to defend the RSS on many occasion especially on ideological issues but now they have to defend themselves and RSS’ expansion is at its zenith. The RSS had meetings with journalists in its roaster. Earlier, the RSS chief used to meet like-minded journalists at its Jhandewalan office quite frequently.

RSS to unleash a campaign against people tarnishing image of country soon!

By IndianMandarins 29 Jul 2019

New Delhi: Sangh Pariwar is planning to counter such people who are cultivating India’s image as lynchistan with a selective propaganda. A detailed planning in this regard is being worked out by the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) which has chalked out a public awakening programme across the country from August-September.

VHP spokesperson Vinod Bansal told Indian Mandarins that the propaganda unleashed earlier by Award Wapsi gang and now 49 people writing to Prime Minister Narendra Modi that India is turning in to a country of mob lynchers. Many other such people will be countered for their false narrative targeted at tarnishing image of the country.

Under this public awakening programme, small meetings will be organized with the local VHP workers, intellectuals and cross sections of society in every nook and crany of the country to expose their falsehood and selective propaganda.

Sangh outfits are of the view that mob lynching laws must be framed and they feel Hindus are the biggest victims of mob lynching. This is not a recent phenomenon rather the Hindu community has been the victim of mob lynching since ages. They alleged that the biggest perpetrator of this crime is jihadi mindset, which is supported by these so-called intellectuals.

Bansal said that the world knows very well that who are behind these incidents. Actually there is a big conspiracy to defend cow smugglers, cow slaughterer, criminals and many such people who are perpetrating crime against majority community behind this move as they erupt suddenly.

These people have certain agenda; first to protect criminals involved in cow slaughter and smuggling; second to defame Hinduism; third to destabilize the Modi government at the Centre. It is being said that these gangs are so much rattled as the new dispensation in Delhi has choked their foreign funding. So they are unable to carry out many other such activities to paint India in wrong colour and failing to get that much support base as they used to get.

The most interesting thing is that 25 out of 49 writing to Prime Minister about the lynching incidents belong to West Bengal but none of them could muster enough courage to speak against killing of the BJP and VHP workers in the state. So it is obvious that they are working on some agenda and everyone knows their master who is hatching the political conspiracy. They have conveniently ignored killings in West Bengal. The VHP will expose all this across the country, says Bansal. People will be told who and how anti-India activities are being carried out to fulfill political motives of a few political parties.

RSS short-listing 1000 young pracharaks: Reshuffle of 'Prant-paracharaks' likely

By IndianMandarins 19 Jul 2019

New Delhi: In its attempt to make generation shift, the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) is looking for around 1000 young pracharaks to work for the organization across the country. The organization has not only sought names but also started working on them.

Sources said that certain conditions have been laid for these pracharaks like they should be between 30 and 40 years of age and must be dynamic in every sense. Besides these 1000 pracharaks, the RSS is also planning to replace some of its state organizing secretaries and 'Prant-pracharak' to make working of the organization even better.

Sources said that the RSS wants such 'Prant-pracharak' to the service who are able to move swiftly as the responsibility requires more dynamism. Some of the RSS leaders at the top are physically unfit to take up the responsibility. The RSS has taken back Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) national general secretary (organizations) Ram Lal in the outreach department of the organization.

There are many regions in the country where the RSS feels that there are immense possibilities of its expansion and not only possibility but also the need to reach out to people of the area. So all these decisions were taken in its recent meeting in Vijayawada and the organization started working in the same directions.

If sources are to be believed then the organization has already working on the name and some names have already reached. They will be scrutinized and then these selected pracharaks will be sent to particular areas where the RSS wants to send them.

Organisational reshuffle in BJP-RSS effected; few rare changes makes buzz

By IndianMandarins 14 Jul 2019

New Delhi: Changes in the Rashtriya Swayamsewak Sangh (RSS) and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) have started taking place with national general secretary (organisation) Ram Lal being divested from the BJP and made ‘Sahsampark Pramukh’ (co-in charge of Outreach Department) of the RSS.

Interestingly this is a very rare occasion when someone has been sent back to the RSS from the BJP as generally people sent from the parent organization – the RSS – don’t go back. International president of VHP Alok Kumar is another such example who was sent back to RSS from the BJP before finally being moved to VHP. Even the blue eyed boy of the RSS Sanjay Joshi has not been taken back to the RSS. But this is also sure that Ram Lal has not been given something big in the RSS rather a tough job after playing messiah in the BJP for a pretty long time.

Though, the RSS and BJP claim to be separate and independent organizations but national generally (organisation) of the BJP has to be a RSS pracharak ever-since this tradition of multiple general secretaries started in the party. Joint General Secretaries too are the RSS men in the party and all the six of them at the moment are ‘pracharaks’. Despite all their claims, detractors call the RSS and the BJP as Hindu undivided family who heavily depend on each other.

General Secretary (Organization) works in tandem with the RSS office bearer generally with ‘Sahsarkaryawah’ (Joint General Secretary) of the RSS for the management of many things from booth management to expansion of the party to manpower. The RSS workers even get involved for the membership drive of the BJP. There is another important thing is that the BJP gets its worker from Akhil Bharatiya Vidhyarthi Parishad (ABVP) which is an RSS affiliate organization of the RSS not of the BJP. The incumbent executive president J P Nadda was part of the ABVP and incumbent vice president of India is a former ABVP activist.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is a former General Secretary (Organisation). There is a general understanding that organizing secretaries refrain from going into electoral politics with some exception like PM Modi and another former organizing secretary and later president of BJP Kushabhau Thakrey who got elected to the Lok Sabha.

Pracharaks are sent to difficult terrains of the country for the BJP for their expansion as one of present secretary of the BJP Sunil Deodhar was sent to North-east and he turned the fortunes for the BJP in Tripura and outreach of the BJP is in the region as never before.
