Amrendra Kumar Sengar (IPS:1995:UP) yesterday took charge as Inspector General, national Disaster Response Force. He was empanelled as IG in Govt of India in the month of August last year along with 75 batch-mates.
In his new stint he replaced Sandeep Rai Rathore (IPS:1992:TN) who repatriated to Tamil Nadu after completing his tenure at Centre.
