New Delhi (28.09.2025): The Union Ministry of Home Affairs on Sunday appointed Rajeev Verma (IAS: 1992: AGMUT) as the new Chief Secretary of Delhi. He will succeed Dharmendra (IAS: 1989: AGMUT) on his superannuation on 30 September 2025. Currently, Verma is serving as the Advisor to the Administrator and Chief Secretary of Chandigarh. He is expected to take charge on October 01.The appointment of Delhi CS also indicates the Center's preparedness to pick an AGMUT Cadre IAS to replace Verma as the new Advisor to the Administrator and Chief Secretary of Chandigarh. New Delhi (28.09.2025): The Union Ministry of Home Affairs on Sunday appointed Rajeev Verma (IAS: 1992: AGMUT) as the new Chief Secretary of Delhi. He will succeed Dharmendra (IAS: 1989: AGMUT) on his superannuation on 30 September 2025.
