Naresh Kumar is CS, Delhi; Dharmendra goes to Arunachal as CS

3993New Delhi (19.04.2022): Union Home Ministry on Tuesday late evening appointed Naresh Kumar (IAS:191987:UT) as the new Chief Secretary to the Govt of Delhi. Currently, he is working as Chief Secretary of Arunachal Pradesh. He replaces Vijay Kumar Dev (IAS:1987:UT) who is all set to take over his next assignment as Chief Election Commissioner, Delhi w.e.f. 21.04.2022. NDMC Chairman Dharmendra (IAS:1989:UT) was sent to Arunachal Pradesh as CS vice Naresh Kumar. Further, Puducherry Chief Secretary Ashwani Kumar (IAS:1992:UT) was shifted to Delhi though his next assignment is yet to be allocated. Kumar’s batchmate Rajeev Verma (IAS:1992:UT) was moved from Arunachal Pradesh to Puducherry as Chief Secretary.
