• The NaMo administration on Thursday extended the  inter cadre deputation tenure of Aunjaneya Kumar Singh, (lAS: 2005:SK) from Sikkim cadre to Uttar Pradesh cadre for a further period of one year w.e.f. 15.02.2020 after completion of five years.

  • The NaMo administration on Thursday effected a major bureaucratic rejig at the level of Secretary as follows:
    1. Debasish Panda (IAS:1987:UP) appointed as Secretary, Department of Financial Services (Secretary, Banking) vice Rajiv Kumar (IAS:1984:JH) upon his superannuation on 29.02.2020. Presently, he is Special Secretary, Department of Financial Services, Ministry of Finance.
    2. Ms. Usha Sharma (IAS:1985:RJ) appointed as Secretary, Department of Youth Affairs, Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports. Presently, she is Director General, Archaeological Survey of India, Ministry of Culture.
    3. Rajeev Ranjan (IAS:1985:TN) appointed as Secretary, Department of Fisheries, Ministry of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairying vice Ms. Rajni Sekhri Sibal (IAS:1986:HY) upon her superannuation on 29.02.2020. Presently, he is Special Secretary, GST Council Secretariat, Department of Revenue, Ministry of Finance.
    4. Tenure of Parameswaran Iyer (Voluntarily Retired IAS:1981:UP) as Secretary, Department of Drinking Water and Sanitation (Ministry of Jal Shakti) was extended  for a further period of one year beyond 30.04.2020 i.e. upto 30.04.2021.
    5. Pawan Kumar Agarwal (IAS:1985:WB) appointed as Secretary, Department of Consumer Affairs, Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution. Presently, he is Chief Executive Officer, Food Safety and Standards Authority of India FSSAI).
    6. Saraswati Prasad (IAS:1985:AM) appointed as Secretary, National Commission for Scheduled Tribes in the rank and pay of Secretary. Presently, he is Special Secretary and Financial Adviser, Ministry of Steel.
    7. Rajiv Bansal (IAS:1988:NL) appointed as Chairman & Managing Director, Air India in the rank and pay of Additional Secretary. Presently, he is Additional Secretary, Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas. 

    8. Raj Kumar (IAS:1987:GJ) appointed as as Secretary, Department of Defence Production, Ministry of Defence. Presently, he is working as DG, Employees' State Insurance Corporation (ESIC).

  • Vinayak Garg (IRSEE:1994), currently working as CVO of ITDC, was on Thursday given the additional of the post of Chief Vigilance Officer, Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency Limited (IREDA) for period of three month ending 09.03.2020.

  • The Govt of India on Tuesday cleared the promotion and posting of seven senior officers at various positions in the Ministry of Railways:

    1. Sudheer Kumar (IRSEE) appointed as Additional Member (Railway Electrification), Railway Board. Presently, he is working as Principal Executive Director (Transformation).
    2. N P Pande (IRAS) appointed as Additional Member (Budget), Railway Board. Presently, he is working as Principal Financial Adviser (PFA), North Eastern Railway.
    3. Santosh Kumar Agarwal (IRSE) appointed as Director General, IRICEN. Presently, he is working as AGM in NWR.
    4. Naresh Salecha (IRAS) appointed as Additional Member (Revenue), Railway Board. Presently, he is working as Principal Executive Director (Finance), Railway Board.
    5. A K Pandey (IRSS) appointed as Special Director General  (Vendor Development), RDSO, Lucknow. Presently, he is working as Principal Executive Director, Railway Stores (C).
    6. V R Mishra (IRSS) appointed as Additional Member (Railway Stores), Railway Board. Presently, he is working as PCCM, South Central Railway.
    7. C M Jindal (IRAS) appointed as Director General, IRIFIM. Presently, he is working as Principal Financial Adviser (PFA) in RCF.

  • Sandeep Saxena (IAS:1989:TN) was on Wednesday repatriated to parent cadre i.e. Tamil Nadu  for availing the benefit of promotion to Chief Secretary Grade. Presently, Saxena is working as Deputy Election Commissioner  in the Election Commission of India (ECI).

  • The NaMo administration on Wednesday extended the central deputation tenure of Rajesh Kumar Sinha (IAS:1994:KL), Joint Secretary in the Ministry of Coal, for a period of three months beyond 12.04.2020.

  • The NaMo administration on Tuesday appointed Barun Mitra (IAS:1987:MN) as new Secretary, Department of Justice vice Alok Shrivastava (IAS:1984:MP) who moved to NCLAT as Member (Technical). It may be underlined that Shrivastava’s appointment in NCLAT was cleared months back i.e. October 31, 2019. 

    Weeks back Mitra was appointed as OSD in the Department of Justice. While serving as Special Secretary in the Department of Defence Production Mitra and Justice and also held the additional charge of the post of Secretary, Department of Defence and Secretary, Department of Defence Production w.e.f. 01.01.2020 to 03.01.2020 during the period of absence on leave of Dr Ajay Kumar (lAS:1985:KL).

  • The NaMo administration on Tuesday appointed Sanjeev Razdan (GM, , General Pawan Hans Limited) to the post of CMD for a period of five years.

    Presently, Usha Padhee (IAS:1996:OR) holds the additional charge of CMD. Further, two board level positions are vacant; Director (Finance Personnel & Administration) and Director (Operation & Marketing).
