Parag Jain is currently heading the Aviation Research Centre, which played a vital role during ‘Operation Sindoor’ by collecting intelligence on the Pakistani armed forces. Jain will take over from Sinha on June 30.

Jain has long been associated with RAW, India’s external intelligence agency and has worked closely with former chief Samant Goel. He played key roles in major operations such as the Balakot airstrike and the revocation of Article 370. While serving in the Cadre (Punjab) Parag Jain served as SSP Chandigarh and DIG Ludhiana.
