New Delhi (30.06.2025): Following the Centre’s consent the Government of Chhattisgarh Govt extended the service of Amitabh Jain (IAS: 1989: CG), the incumbent Chief Secretary of Chhattisgarh, for three months. Amitabh Jain will continue as CS till 30 September 2025. He was scheduled to retire today. This is the first time since the formation of Chhattisgarh that a Chief Secretary has got an extension. Amitabh Jain has become the first Chief Secretary to be given an extension by the Central Government.ALSO READ:
