New Delhi (25.06.2025): Power corridors are abuzz with speculations over the appointment of the next Executive Director of India at International Monetary Fund (IMF). In addition, the post of Chairman, Insurance Regulatory Development Authority of India (IRDAI) is also lying vacant since March this year. The buzz suggests that the Centre may pick Ajay Seth (IAS: 1987: KN), Secretary, Department of Economic Affairs (DEA) for the IMF position after he retires next week. His name is also doing rounds for the post of Chairman, IRDAI.
