New Delhi (14.05.2021): The NaMo administration on Friday cleared the appointment of as many as twenty Joint Secretary rank officer in various ministries and department. The list of officers appointed as JS goes as follows:

  1. D Senthil Pandiyan (IAS:2002:UD) appointed as Joint Secretary, Ministry of AYUSH for a tenure of five years vice Roshan Jaggi (IFS:1988:JK)
  2. Ms. Nirupama Kotru (IRS IT:1992) appointed as Joint Secretary & FA, Ministry of Coal for an overall tenure of five years upto 15.05.2023. She replaces Ms. Reena Sinha Puri (IRS IT:1987).
  3. Bhaskar Verma (ICAS:1995) appointed as Member Secretary, National Monuments Authority (NMA), Ministry of Culture for a tenure of five years vice Navneet Soni (IRS IT:1988).
  4. Ms. Lily Pandeya (IRPS:1998) appointed as Joint Secretary, Ministry of Culture for a tenure of five years vice Padma L Sahu (ICAS:1991);
  5. Mayank Tewari (IRSME:1993) appointed as Joint Secretary, Department of Defence for a tenure of five years vice Ms Richa Misra (IDAS:1996).
  6. Ms Nazli Jafri Shayin (IA&AS:1999) appointed as Additional Financial Adviser & Joint Secretary in the Ministry of Defence (Finance) for an overall tenure upto 29.12.2021 vice Ashwini Kumar (IRS IT:1988).
  7. Ms. Indira Murthy (CSS) appointed as Joint Secretary, Ministry of Earth Sciences for a tenure upto the date of her superannuation i.e. 30.04.2023. She replaces Vipin Chandra (IRS IT:1987).
  8. Ms. Manisha Sinha (IPoS:1992) appointed as Joint Secretary, Department of Economic Affairs for a tenure of five years vice Prashant Goyal (IAS:1993:UT)
  9. Ashish Vachhani (IAS:1997:TN) appointed as Joint Secretary, Department of Economic Affairs for a tenure of five years vice Arvind Shrivastava (IAS:1994:KN).
  10. Ms. Sandhya Bhullar (IAS:2003:GJ) appointed as Joint Secretary, Department of Economic Affairs for an overall tenure of five years upto 31.03.2024 vice Sameer Kumar Khare (IAS:19989:AM).
  11. Bhuvnesh Kumar (IAS:1995:UP) appointed as Joint Secretary, Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology for a tenure of five years vice Sanjay Goel (IRTS:1991).
  12. Patibandla Ashok Babu (IAS:2003:AM) appointed as Joint Secretary, Department of Health & Family Welfare for an overall tenure of five years upto 25.08.2024  vice Manohar Agnani (IAS:1993:MP)
  13. Jeetendra Singh (IRSEE:1993) appointed as Joint Secretary, Department of Heavy Industry for a tenure of five years vice Amit Vardhan (IRTS:1989).
  14. Sumant Singh (IAS:2003:MN) appointed as Joint Secretary, Department of Home Affairs for an overall tenure of five years upto 03.12.2024 vice Krishna Bahadur Singh (IFS:1995:UT).
  15. Sanjiv Shankar (IRS IT:1993) appointed as Joint Secretary, Ministry of Information & Broadcasting for a tenure of five years vice Ms. Neerja Sekhar (IAS:1993:HY).
  16. Manoj Kumar (IRS IT:1994) appointed as Joint Secretary, Department of Investment & Public Asset Management for a tenure of five years vice Nukala Venudhar Reddy (IIS:1988).
  17. Ms Veena Tamta Bhatia (IOFS:1988) appointed as Additional Central Provident Fund Commissioner (HQ), EPFO under the Ministry of Labour & Employment for a tenure upto the date of her superannuation i.e. 30.11.2023. She replaces Ms Rekha Yadav (IRPS:1995)
  18. Sonmoni Borah (IAS:1999:CG) appointed as Joint Secretary, Department of Land Resources for a tenure of five years or vice Hukum Singh Meena (IAS:1992:BH).
  19. Som Dutt Sharma (CSS) appointed as Director, ISTM, Department of Personnel & Training for a tenure of five years vice Ms Sunita H Khurana (CSS).
  20. Sanjeeb Kumar Mishra (IAS:1997:OR) appointed as Secretary-cum-Controller of Examination, National Recruitment Agency (NRA) under the Department of Personnel & Training (DOPT) for a tenure of five years against a newly created post.
