As Indianmandarins had reported first on 05 April 2018, Kumar Alok (IAS:1990:TR) repatriated to the cadre state of Tripura. The ACC ratified his repatriation with imposition of extended cooling off condition. Currently he serves as Joint Secretary, Ministry of Home Affairs.
