New Delhi (15.07.2026): The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has appointed two 2008 batch IPS officers of AGMUT cadre as Joint Director in the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI). Both these officers were serving as DIG in the CBI. The names of these officers are as follows:

New Delhi (15.07.2026): The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has appointed two 2008 batch IPS officers of AGMUT cadre as Joint Director in the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI). Both these officers were serving as DIG in the CBI. The names of these officers are as follows:
- Atul Kumar Thakur (IPS: 2008: AGMUT), DIG, CBI, has been appointed as Joint Director, CBI, for an overall tenure of seven years i.e. up to 24.11.2028.
- Pankaj Kumar Singh (IPS: 2008: AGMUT), DIG, CBI, has been appointed as Joint Director, CBI, for an overall tenure of seven years i.e. up to 05.12.2028.
