PM Awards highlight achievement of young officers

pm-awards-highlight-achievement-of-young-officersA number of young and dynamic officers bagged Prime Minister's Awards for Excellence in Public Administration 2018 on the Civil Services' Day. The Innovation Award for the Category of Team India for 'Ease of Doing Business' went to Additional Secretary Shailendra Singh and Ravinder (Joint Secretary, DIPP Govt. of India). Yugal Kishore Joshi (Director, Ministry of Drinking Water & Sanitation) received the Innovation Award in the category of Director, Deputy Secretary for Information and Education & Communication (ICE Campaign) - under the initiative of Swachch Bharat Mission - 'Gramin' in the Ministry of Drinking Water and Sanitation. Dr. Milind Ramteke (District Magistrate & Collector) and Arun Bhattacharjee (Dy. Director, Agriculture) won the award for exemplary execution of Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana in the category of North East and Hill States - West Tripura (Tripura). In the category of other states, the same award was won by District Beed (Maharashtra). Beed District Collector and Magistrate, M.D.Singh (IA S), and Dist. Superintendent and Agriculture Officer Chaple received the award. The Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Gramin) award in the category of NE and Hill States - Kangra (Himachal Pradesh) was won by Kangra and received by Sandeep Kumar (Dy Commissioner) and Kamal Kant Saroch (ADC, Kangra & CEO Zila Parishad). In the other states category, the same award was lifted by Neemach (Madhya Pradesh) and was received by Collector & District Magistrate Kaushlendra Vikram Singh and Kamlesh Bhrgava (CEO Zila Parishad) The Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana - Urban excellence award was won by the UT of Puducherry and received by Satyendra Singh Dursavat, District Collector, and P Jawahar, Secretary, Local Body. In the category of other states, the same award was given to GHMC (Hyderabad) and was received by Dr. B Janardhan Reddy, Commissioner, GHMC Hyderabad (Telangana). The Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Gramin Kaushalya Yojana award for the NE and Hill States was conferred on Dhemaji (Assam) and received by its Dy Commissioner Roshni Aparanji Korati. Among other states' category, the award was bagged by Karimnagar (Telangana) and received by its Dist Collector Srfararaz Ahmad. The award for Promoting Digital Payments in NE and Hill States was conferred on Vishnupur (Manipur) and received by Pawan Yadav, Deputy Commissioner. The Union Territory of  Daman (Daman & Diu) also won the award and received by Sandeep Kumar Singh, Collector & District Magistrate. Among Other States, Sonipat (Haryana) received the award. Vinay Singh, Deputy Commissioner, collected it. Kundan Kumar, Collector & District Majistrate of Banka (Bihar), received the Aspirational District award for an initiative called Unnayan Banka Reinventing Education using Technology through Unnayan App. Team GST (Dept. of Revenue, Govt. of India for initiative Ek Rashtra Ek Kar Ek Bazaar) award was conferred on eight 08 Central Govt. Officers (Kendriya Adhikari) and 05 State Cadre Officers (Rajya Adhikari) Upendra Gupta received the award on behalf of central govt. officers and P D Baghela for Rajya Sarkar officers.
