The Goa government on Wednesday appointed Justice P K Mishra, former judge at Patna High Court, as the state Lokayukta. The post had been lying vacant since October 2013 when Justice Sudarshan Reddy resigned, barely seven months after taking up the job, citing personal reasons. Chief Minister Laxmikant Parsekar said that 12 cases are pending with the Lokayukta.
