Chandigarh (12.09.2025): The Haryana government appointed Manoj Yadava (Retd IPS: 1988: HY), former state Director General of Police (DGP), as the new Director General of the Haryana Institute of Public Administration (HIPA), Gurugram.
Yadava was superannuated on July 31, 2025 while serving as Director General of the Railway Protection Force (RPF). He was appointed as Director General of Police, Haryana, on February 18, 2019, and served for nearly 30 months. After completing his term, he returned to the Intelligence Bureau as Special Director in August 2021. Subsequently, in July 2022, he was appointed as Director General (Investigation), National Human Rights Commission (NHRC), where he spearheaded several initiatives to strengthen custodial justice standards in India. In August 2023, he took charge as DG, Railway Protection Force, a post he held until his retirement.
