New Delhi (19.07.2023): Manoj Yadava (IPS: 1988: HY), whose details were sought by the UPSC, has been appointed as the Director General of the Railway Protection Force (RPF). Yadava will succeed Sanjay Chander who retires on July 31, putting a lid on his chances of being appointed as Haryana DGP. The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the appointment of Yadava to the post of DG, RPF, up to his superannuation on July 31, 2025. Currently, he is working as DG (Invesgigation) in the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC).
