New Delhi (22.11.2023): The High Court of Delhi on Wednesday heard the application for interim relief filed by Naresh Kumar (IAS: 1987: AGMUT) Chief Secretary Delhi claiming the article published by “The Wire” false and defamatory. High court justice directed an interim injunction and take down of the aforesaid defamatory article. It may be underlined that the article claimed the senior IAS officer had involvement and had gratification in the alleged Dwarka Expressway land scam but the court stressed upon the order passed by the then DM and underlined that the enhancement of compensation was an outcome of arbitration proceedings, in which the plaintiff was clearly not involved.ALSO READ:
